What if there are more than 5 senses?
Hey Thinkers!
We all know there are 5 senses, hearing, vision, taste, smell and touch. Some people belive in the sixth sense, which is some sort of connection to the dead. Some animals can sense if there are about to be an earthquake, if someone is about to have a seizure and probably other things too, so there are definetly things that we humans can't experience.
What if everyone was deaf? No one would have heard the sound of laughter, we would all use some kind of sign language, and music wouldn't exist. Everything would be so different for everyone.
If there was one person that could hear, they would experience a whole new world, they would be able to hear if someone came walking, they would hear the birds chirp, the breeze in the trees and the sound of the waves.
Of course that person would want to tell people about this, and everyone would think that person was crazy, right? Some people would try to prove it was true, some people would try to prove it's not true, but most people would just not care and think that it's all made up, or that the person is crazy.
When you were out somewhere, have you ever felt like someone is watching you, just to look up to make eye contact with someone? Have you ever felt that something is off with someone, which is later proven to be true?
Have you ever sensed when someone is about to have a seizure? Probably not. Which means that there are things we humans can't sense, that might be possible for other creatures.
